1966 Fender Pro Reverb Guitar Amp, Blackface, 2x12, AA165

Vintage Fender Pro Reverb 2x12 guitar amp. I'm selling this for a friend that has had this amp since the early 70's. Date code is PK, which dates it to 1966. Production number is 91. The amp was sitting for many years and blew fuses when turned on. I had a technician go over it and make repairs. Here is what he did. New Sprague Atom caps, three new JJ tubes (recifier and two 6L6GC tubes), new speaker wire, new grounded power cord, new fuse holder. Amp is now working fine and sounds great! I am including the old RCA 6L6GC tubes, which tested out fine. The other vacuum tubes from left to right are vintage TELEFUNKEN, RCA, RCA, SYLVANIA, TELEFUNKEN, RCA. Footswitch is working fine. All inputs, knobs, features are working fine. Now for the known issues to point out.
Mechanically.... The speakers did not seem to respond when soldering new wire to disignated place between speakers, so it was soldered to the left speaker. We did not check to see if the two speakers are still in phase since the repairs, you may need to check that. Also, there is a slight ticking sound with the reverb that you hear most of the time. I found out this is a common issue with these old tube amps. The reverb tank is laying loose on the bottom of the amp. It should be placed in a bag and secured, which I did not do. Cosmetically, the tolex has some holes. The vinyl covering has places where it is coming loose due to old dry glue. Amp could use a good cleaning, I did not attemp to clean up at all. Honestly, I think it will clean up nicely.
