For sale is my cherished Gibson SG Standard with coil tap. This has been my partner at many a gig, but it's time to let it go. The finish is a rich wine red with visible grain. I have added straplock fasteners, Spiegel locking tuners and chrome covers for the humbucker pickups, which are hot, clean and powerful. There are a few knicks and scrapes and a beer stain inside the hardshell case, but that just adds character in my opinion. The coil tap feature lets you go from double coil (ACDC thrash) to single coil (Merle Haggard country twang) in an instant. The action is slim and the neck is extremely playable, with the enhanced access to upper frets that the SG is famous for. A versatile, trustworthy instrument that has served me well.
