1997 Jackson DKMGT Dinky arch top with a sculpted string thru-body and reverse headstock. This guitar was made in Japan with quality in mind.
This MG Series Jackson guitar is very hard to find, especially with the Active EMG TurboCharger boost system.
Jackson construction includes an Alder body with a bolt-on Rock Maple neck. The neck is bound and has a compound-radius rosewood fret board with 24 jumbo frets. It also has the MOTO Piranha fingerboard inlays which look great.
Both pickups are the EMG HZ H4 model. They are ceramic bar loaded 81 without the “active” element for a very powerful output in the neck or bridge position.
The Active EMG TurboCharger system can add from 0-20db boost and operates with a push/pull knob.
It is incredible just how much boost this system can add and how great it sounds, clean or dirty.
I have cleaned all the pots so they are smooth and operate with no noise. New Ernie Ball strings have also been added.
Also included is a very nice Jackson hard shell case. (pictured)
There are two small chips in the finish which I have tried to capture in the photos.Overall, I feel for a guitar of this age, it is in above average condition. It plays smooth and fast and sounds amazing. As for myself and its previous owners, it has been well cared for.All sales are final and AS-IS condition.
