Originally conceived by Dan Smith, the Fender Esprit featured a chambered, double cutaway semi-hollow body with a carved Maple top and dual humbuckers. Seeking to occupy similar territory as the ES-335, it was even endorsed by Robben Ford at one point.Good thing it is chambered because this guitar would weigh a country ton if it weren't. Frets are Perfect! Plays beautifully! Includes Original Fender Molded Hard Shell Case (with all latches working perfectly) and Case Key, Original Truss Rod Wrench and Original Fender Strap. Just in killer shape for being more than 30 years old. Plays like butter. Was recently setup to perfection (the techs card indicating the details of the setup are on the card including). One nearly invisible (microscopic) ding on the top (NOT through the finish) and two superficial buckle scratches on the back are the only things keeping this from being listed as MINT.Original Fender molded hard shell case included.Monster Music in Levittown, NY has been in business for 28 years so shop with confidence.
