PRICE REDUCTION- $2500  A 1971 Les Paul Custom "Fretless Wonder"  Guitar (#174662)FIRST OF ALL TO ALL YOU "PURIST" COLLECTORS I REALIZE I MADE A MISTAKE BY REFINISHING THIS GUITAR SO,PLEASE, ENOUGH OF THE SCOLDING AND DEROGATORY REMARKS!! IT IS STILL A LES PAUL CUSTOM AND A GREAT GUITAR FROM A GOOD YEAR AND NOT WORTHLESS AS A FEW HAVE SAID!! It was originally a Black Beauty color but refinished to natural wood color. Also added Kahler locking tremlo system and replaced stock PUs with `90s Seymour Duncan `59 neck and Alan Holdsworth SH-AH1 bridge (which is amazingly powerful) Also added coil taps for extra tone options. It has original low profile "fretless wonder" frets.Refretting can be done if desired($300 by Guitar Center) and restoring original paint for $500. I have all the original pots, knobs, bridge and PUs($300 value) in case someone wanted to restore to original. Original case bit the dust years ago but guitar is in a semi-hard hybrid case with neck brace and storage. I bought this guitar in `72 from Charlie Rich`s guitar player and it has Grover tuning pegs with one odd key on the B2 string and one gear cover cap missing on the E1 tuner. It was like that when I bought it and I never replaced but functions fine. Also 2 small screw holes in bridge area where I had an Arp Avatar PU installed. Other than that, just normal wear. It weighs 10 lbs.This price is my final price reduction and I`ll just keep it before I just "give" it away. I don`t need your comments, just serious offers! THANKS only......forgive me Les!!!
