This is one awesome affordable Gibson Les Paul. It has a beautiful matte desert burst finish. The frets are in great shape. This is the pro model so it has coil tapping pots and better pickups than the regular LPJ. Traditional "swiss cheese" weight relief. Has some small nicks around the edge and slight buckle rash in the clear coat, bridge is in great condition, minimal wear for a guitar that is 4 years old. The case is included and it too has a few nicks. It is a gibson hard case. All in all it everything is in very good condition. The LPJ offers all the ingredients that made the most desirable Les Paul Standards legendary"classic tonewoods, innovative hardware, two genuine humbucking pickups, and of course Gibson' acclaimed build quality and playability"all wrapped up in a stripped-down, no-nonsense package that makes this guitar a flat-out performer. The LPJ Pro ups the ante with coil-tapping and 490R-NECK and 490T-Bridge pickups. LPJ Pro has a mahogany body. A neck made from hard-wearing maple is glued into the body, and carved to Gibson's popular rounded '50s profile that measures .818 at the 1st fret and .963 at the 12th. It is topped with a genuine rosewood fingerboard that carries 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional trapezoid inlays. There' no pickguard or fingerboard binding to clutter the straight-on, stripped-down look of the LPJ, while quality touches continue with a PLEK-cut nut made from black Corian to subtly echo the black speed knobs and black pickup rings and covers. The traditional back-angled headstock is silkscreened with a gold Gibson logo that stands out clear and proud. A pair of Gibson' 490R-NECK and 490T-Bridge pickups with coil-tapping fire up the LPJ Pro through your amp of choice. An independent volume and tone control with push/pull coil-tapping per pickup, plus a three-way toggle selector switch allows a broad range of sonic variations, while Gibson USA' legendary tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece ensure solid sustain and outstanding intonation. A set of vintage-style tuners provides an impressive 16:1 gear ratio for precise and efficient tuning. Put it all together, and the LPJ Pro is the fastest road to a genuine Les Paul, sparing none of the tone, while putting the legend in your hands with far less load on your wallet.
