Auction includes 2x E-mu Rack Samplers both of which are maxed out with the largest amount of internal RAM/memory and maximum sized internal SCSI hard drive loaded with custom sound banks. These units are gems and you will never find a more comprehensive and pre-loaded vintage sampler setup.What really sets these units apart is that the internal drives are LOADED with custom sound banks. Each bank has been meticulously created using some of the best vintage sound libraries available and neatly categorized for ease of use. Simply fire them up, select a bank, and you're good to go!The E-64 is loaded with primarily synth sounds. The E-5000 Ultra has synth sounds and more comprehensive banks that include full choirs, soprano voices, stringed instruments, live drum kits, custom banks of drones, custom distorted reality banks, and more.These banks aren't just dumps of the original discs, they have all been hand selected across multiple professional quality libraries.The auction also comes with a bunch of original sample discs. The main picture consists of all of the retail discs, and there is a big pile of assorted backups as well.Both units work and sound great. The only issues are with the E-5000 sometimes when first turning it on the disk button sticks a little bit (nothing that affects overall use once you know what it does). And I also had a zip tie on the E-5000 around the main output cables in my rack to position the cables correctly and avoid cut outs (I'm not sure if it's the cable fished through my rack, or the output of the E-5000 but either way that worked).
