I have really bonded with this guitar but it's time for a custom shop tele to match my CS strat. This guitar has been VERY lightly used and in EXCELLENT condition. I had this guitar professionally set up (including fret leveling) to make it play absolutely perfectly. This really is a player! I love the neck pickup (especially clean)... to sweet sounding with the Ash body. The bridge pickup BITES (in a good way) without being too harsh. Can rock with the best of them. Super versatile guitar. The tummy cut made it the most comfortable telecaster I've ever played. The fingerboard features a modern 9.5" radius, with comfortably rolled edges for instantly "broken in" feel and medium jumbo frets. Upgraded Modern Bridges For superior intonation, sustain and ease of adjustment, American Standard guitars feature modern bridges with upgraded features. This string-through-body Telecaster bridge has bent steel saddles and a brass plate stamped with the Fender logo. Custom Shop Pickups For singing single-coil tone and performance, this American Standard Telecaster features a specially voiced Twisted Tele® neck pickup and stinging Custom Shop vintage-style Tele bridge pickup, both from the very best of our best, the Fender Custom Shop. Polyurethane Finish with Thin Undercoat This finish offers the superior look and durability of polyurethane, applied to a thinner undercoat that lets the instrument’s body wood flex, breathe and resonate more freely for a more unconstrained and natural-sounding voice. Staggered Tuners Staggered tuners present tuning posts of differing heights that increase the break angle of the strings over the nut. On American Standard guitars, the D, G, B, and high E string tuning posts are set lower than the A and low-E strings, creating a greater string angle that improves performance and helps eliminate buzz.
