Here is a vintage Berliner Pumpen 4 Valve Tuba. I have been repairing for over 50 years and never saw one like this. I could not find any information on the horn. It is in the key of "F". A collector friend of mine had a book with a little information on it. There is the unusual valve style and design. We did a play condition on it and everything works. The book put is as being made between 1820 and 1850 which means it could be close to 200 years old. The length is 40 1/2" with a 8" bell diameter and is 10 to 13" wide. I would really like this to go to a good home. I believe it should be in a museum so it can be shared. It is all original. If anyone knows any information please let me know and I will share it on my auction. Shipping will depend on where you live.
