You are bidding on a Gibson A style mandolin from around the turn of the last century. As you can see it has been well played, it has some repairs as most instruments this age do. There is a well done patch on the bass side. There are spots where the top looks separated from the sides but they are solid tight. The pick guard is missing and a lot of finish has been worn away. A strap button was attached long ago. There is very slight bow in the neck but that doesn't effect the playability one bit, it was that way when I acquired fifteen years ago or so and hasn't moved a bit. This is not a collectable piece but a real player's mandolin. I comes with the original hard shell case.
