This Yamaha trumpet is a joy to play. The sharp crisp sound makes it perfect for jazz or outdoor playing. I have had this instrument for over 20 years where it was my go to instrument for anything from free flowing jazz improvisation to playing the national anthem before sporting events. The valves move freely, yet maintain their spring resistance. All slides move and are easily adaptable to personal preferences with slide grease. This was my first quality trumpet and I have enjoyed many performances with it, but I simply no longer have the room for all of my horns. It was a comfortable horn whether giving a concert or enjoying a relaxing session with friends. With the age there are some small character dents in the instrument, but is in great condition following 20 years of use. The case shows some wear, but is also in very good condition given the age. I have not included a mouthpiece at this time in respect for your personal preference. I have used many different styles and sizes with this particular instrument and have found it to adapt easily to most options, especially those that lean more toward the jazz and upper register playing.
