Hello and welcome to my auction for my Fender Custom Shop Tone Machine '57 Strastocaster Relic. This is the Team Build version of a John Cruz master built '57 Stratocaster but it has the same pickups The guitar has huge Jumbo 6100 frets as favoured by many Blues/Rock Super stars, the fretboard has a 10' radius which is still nice for chord work but low enough for some low action high octane licks.The pickups are some of the finest to come out of the fender Custom Shop, they are Masterbuilt John Cruz units and they have all the twang you would expect from a good single coil but with plenty of fatness without that harsh high mids that some hotter wind pickups have.The guitar comes with the special Fender Custom Shop limited edition centre pocket tweed case plus COA and all the unused case candy. I bought it 12 months ago from Peach Guitars and it has had home use only.It is a fantastic guitar to look at and to play. It sounds superb with the Master Built John Cruz pick ups.The neck is not the usual soft'V' on a 57 but a comfortable 'C shape with a little bit of beef to it. Quite slim but not over slim.A lovely lightly worn in feel to the neck and a nice subtle relic finish to the body.Pick up is best but I will post to the UK only.
