1975 Gibson F-5, serial# 396907 as seen on headstock and signed label by Stan Rendell on 5-6, 1975. The 70s are not considered to be the best years for Gibson mandolins. However this one plays and sounds great. In overall great condition.  Beautiful inlays that were unique to this era.  Lower point binding is chipped off but repairable. Binding yellowed. Pick guard is removed (included) and shown in picture for illustration only. Blemish underneath where pick guard rests.  No breaks or other damage. No finish checking. Honest finish wear on neck indicative of a 42 year old instrument having been played a lot! What appears to be original hard shell case included.  I would like to keep it but have six Gibsons, so a couple need to go.
