Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1980 Gretsch Chet Atkins Super Axe in its original and more rare Sunburst finish. The Super Axe has an analog Phaser and Compressor built-in. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of the bridge, pickup selector toggle switch, one additional strap button, and 4 screws on the bottom edge from a previously installed tailpiece. There were other tuning keys installed at one time, but the correct keys are now back in place. An earlier Gretsch hardshell case is included. The case has some damage, but is still very useable. This vintage Super Axe looks great with a few very minor nicks + dings, extra screw holes from other tuning keys, some cracks in the plastic pickup surrounds, and other very minor cosmetic wear including a scratch in the finish on the back of the neck. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics work and sound great.
