It features a thin “C” neck contour that provides for effortless fretting and the ends of the frets are nicely dressed (no sharp edges). Frets from positions 1 to 5 do show a little wear, however there is still plenty of wear left. The build quality of this guitar is amazing, a high-end instrument for the professional player looking for a road worthy instrument. I tried to detail all of the most notable blemishes on the finish: 1. On the back of the neck, there is a small nick behind the 5th fret and a small dimple near the 9th fret; none of these blemishes interfere with playing. 2. In terms of the neck pocket, there is a hairline crack in the finish on both sides (common issue) 3. On the top and back of the body there are the usual light scratches and scuffs, nothing major. 4. It’s really the bottom of this guitar that has seen the most wear – about two dozen nicks of various sizes, some just in the top layer finish, some into the paint and others down to the wood – please look at the photos for full details. 5.
