1996 Fender Jagstang in Sonic BlueThis listing is for a beautiful Fender Jagstang in sonic blue from the original first run in 1995-1996. The serial number (V017144) dates it to approximately 1996. Includes: Hardshell case, Mustang style tremolo arm with black tip, replacement pickup switch, “F” style neck plate is installed (original is included in the case), white Earnie Ball strap (like Kurt Cobain’s), and a handful of new guitar picks. Condition:Very good condition considering this beautiful guitar is 21 years old! It does show signs of normal use, but no major damage. There is finish-chipping on the top of the headstock (see photos). There are minor bumps on the body, but no paint chips. Pickguard seems slightly warped from age, but otherwise fine. The switch for the humbucker/bridge pickup is loose. The switch works, but its very loose and you have to play with it to get sound. Once its in place, its fine unless you switch it again. A brand new replacement switch is included if you wish to fix it. The chrome control plate and the chrome on the vibrato plate have scratches from normal use. The strap peg on the upper horn is little loose. Very subtle yellowing on white parts (pick guard, and pickups) from age.
