Not your usual Telecaster.  This guitar has 3 Telecaster single coil pickups coupled to a 5 way switch.  Pickup selection is the same as the 5 way Stratocaster.  But position 3, middle pickup only, has a singing quality I've never heard in any Fender and I've ownd many of them.  Position 2, bridge and middle pickup has that "quack" sound very similar to a Stratocaster but the trebles don't drop out like so many Strats I've played.  The instrument also has a Hipshot B and G bender and a drop D lever installed.  The last two pictures show the lever that is attached to the Hipshot.  This lever fits into the hip and controls the B bender.  Moving the neck activates the lever against the hip raising the pitch up to C#.  The G bender is operated by a lever that sticks out over he bridge.  One can raise the pitch to A or G# by pressing down on the lever.  I usually used C# tuning to replicate floor pedals on a steel guitar.  This lever can be completely removed to the side for normal playing.  Both levers have tuning screws so the proper pitch can be set.  I purchased and installed a Hipshot bridge to allow the strings to slide back and forth while bending.  This bridge costs a $120 from Hipshot but it alleviates binding issues.  Both the bender assembly and bridge are chrome plated.  Considerably more expensive than the nickel coated benders commonly shown.  I also installed compensated brass saddles for better intonation. The finish on the guitar is in superb condition.  The pickguard is chromed metal and does show light pick scratches.  This guitar has a lot of shiny chrome and combined with the black appearance makes it standout.  Lots of bling on this on.  The guitar is well suited for all styles of music.  Especially country or guitar instrumentals.    Once you become familiar with the benders, it'll open a whole new approach to playing.  And the drop D tuning on the low E string provide drop D tuning immediately.  no more tuning the low E string.  If you're curious about how a bender sounds, go to YOUTUBE and type in B benders.  A number of videos will pop up. The instrument will be packed in a gig bag, than an inner box then an outer box with bubble wrap put in as appropriate.  I ship FEDEX ground.  Haven't had a problem yet.  It will be shipped insured and you will have to sign for it directly when it arrives.  Before unwrapping, allow the package to warm up for an hour.  Exposing a cold guitar to a warm room can crack the finish and I don't offer returns.
