Epiphone Riviera EA250This is a stunning looking guitar made in Japan in the early seventies c.1970/1.Its finished in a redburst - darker red towards the edges of the body and with a fully boundbody, soundholes, neck and headstock - a quality electric guitar.There are two black pickups with black surrounds, each with volume and tone controls and there isalso a three-way pickup selector switch near the top righthand cutaway; above the black scratchplatewhich contains the ''E'' logo. The bridge is all wooden and there is a trapeze tailpiece - all original.The maple neck is bolted on and the rosewood fingerboard contains twenty-one frets with pearlblock markers. The headstock is blackfronted and has the ''Epiphone'' logo, truss rod cover and threeon a side covered tuners. This guitar holds its tuning very well.It is very hard to find a mark on this lovely guitar - its in a superb condition. There is a very small amountof binding shrinkage in the cutaways which is hardly noticeable.
