Offered for sale an exceptionally clean 1961 Epiphone Olympic. I will detail what I know about this guitar:1) There is a headstock crack on the guitar's upper bout side. It does not look like any attempts were made to repair it. The guitar holds tune2) There is a divot on the upper side edge of the head stock. I don't know what it is. Looks like a dent.3) There are ancient ghosts of signatures on the yellow part of the sunburst. Barely visible4) I broke the ear off the tailpiece when I tried to raise it. I replaced it with a tailpiece from a 1963 Gibson Melody Maker, so it's period correct. I will include the broken one in the sale, in case it could be re welded5) A black paint drip on the neck heel. I didn't want to mess with it for fear of hurting the finish6) Original Tuners, Pots (scratchy), Jack, Knobs, Pickup, Strap Buttons, Pickguard (corner on horn chipped off)7) Sounds and plays amazing, action good, truss rod moves. Great nitro finish cracksNo case, will be packaged lovinglyAn exceptionally clean vintage guitar for collectors. This guitar is offered for sale locally and could be cancelled immediately.
