Rare custom silver sparkle, silver and black paisley double-bound Telecaster custom built by Bill Crook, the now famous custom luthier who builds all of Brad Paisley's guitars. This particular guitar is known as the "Buck-O-Caster." Brad wanted Bill to build a pair of special guitars for he and Buck Owens. Given Buck started his career playing a silver sparkle Fender Telecaster with black binding and Brad had made the paisley Telecaster his signature, the Buck-O-Caster was born. Bill built a pair of these for Brad and Buck. Brad's was irreparably lost in the Nashville flood and is now in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Buck's is in his Crystal Palace museum in California. Only a handful have been built since, by special order only and Bill is running a 6-9 month wait. It's is a one-of-kind guitar with crisp Tele tones, amazing sustain and a nasty bottom-end punch. The action is low and the compound radius makes for effortless string bends. The guitar is spotless and has never been out of my smoke-free home. Features: - Swamp ash body - Maple neck with pearl fret dots and a compound radius of 7.25-9.5. Fretwire is 6105 and the shape is .830 -C. Nut Width is 1.650". - Tuners: Vintage Grotoh - Neck Pickup: APC Adder - Bridge Pickup: Voodoo TE-59 - Bridge: Callaham Vintage with enhanced compensated saddles. - Fender molded flight case. Guitar will ship in its Fender case inside a standard cardboard guitar shipping box via FedEx Ground not to exceed $75. I will refund the difference if it's less to your ZIP.
