For sale is a 1966 Fender Duo Sonic II. Serial number puts it in early '66. Trying to finance the purchase of a '60's SG Standard for my dad's 60th birthday (his favorite guitar). A Width 22.5in scale slab board (I believe) rosewood neck that just had a fret crown and polish and a setup. Plays and sounds great! Honest player wear on the body with some dings and scratches, but the original finish is still in good condition. Vertical finish crazing overall in the finish, but still shiny. I just noticed there is a finish crack in the normal neck pocket area, my tech said it was solid. All electronics work well with minimal noise and are all original. The switches have a small amount of static when switching, but is not noticeable. A small amount of metal pitting on the bridge on the bass side. Case is in very clean condition inside and outside, with the lining separating from the case a bit on the right side and the middle manual latch missing. The spring latches work still and these issues don't effect the case at all. Thanks for checking it out!
