Fender Mustang V. Rare 1986 E-Serial Olympic White FujiGen BuiltHere is a very rare Fender FujiGen built Mustang. This was from the very first year Fender Japan built Mustangs (1986). It was long before the current Offset revival so very few were ever made. As it was built for Fender at FujiGen the build quality is second to none, easily on par with anything you’d find today coming out of the U.S and miles ahead of anything Mexican. This old Japanese warrior has some real vintage Mojo going on, all the metal especially the tuners and bridge have a lovely dull grey patina over it. All the white plastic has yellowed, the kind of yellowing you just cant fake. And the Oly white has turned a vintage cream colour. The are plenty of little dings and scratches, with plenty of weather checking lines in the poly, a couple of small paint chips near the bottom. She has some stories to tell. She looks like she was once stringed for a southpaw as the lower horn has a hole where the strap pin was fitted. (I have now relocated it to the upper horn) but have not touched up the hole. Everything else (nut, bridge, tail piece etc is correctly assembled for right handed player) Heaps of good honest relicing on this, I love it. The neck is dead straight, truss rod is working fine and there is a bit of light wear in the frets as you'd expect, but plenty of life left in them. This thing is a dream to play and has the classic looks of a true vintage aged Stang. A very cool guitar. Complete with trem arm and gig-bag.All my guitars are shipped inside their HSC/gig bags in padded purpose designed tough durable boxes. My packaging is indestructible.
