19TH CENTURY SWISS MUSIC BOX, ROSEWOOD & MAHOGANY INLAID. UNIQUE THAT IT HAS A SMALL DRUM AND BELLS. MARKED 14095 ON THE MOVEMENT. MISSING 3 TEETH ON THE COMB. MISSING SOME VENEER. CURRENTLY NOT IN WORKING ORDER, NEEDS RESTORATION. 25" X 13.75" X 12.5"
Nothing has been tested on this music box in fear of breaking it. I will only describe the physical appearances. The small pins have bent pins and rusty pins. There are a few comb teeth missing. The drum cover is split. Some surface rust on the larger section on the left.The box condition is fair. The lid is warped on the right side creating a bad seal to the box when closed. There is a crack on the bottom that doesn't seem to affect anything, probably from age.Various scratches, chips, missing details on the box.From what I can tell there should be glass on top, that is missing.
