This is a killer playing and sounding original 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom in original Cherry Sunburst A 39 year old Kalamazoo made guitar with a carved maple three piece top, solid one piece mahogany neck and body, 2 x T-Top Patent Numbered Humbuckers. The guitar has a real ebony fingerboard with original wide frets in great condition. Missing its pickguard and pickup covers which can be easily replaced if desired. The end portion of the fingerboard has been previously professionally worked on to either remove a hump where the fingerboard meets the body but the original frets were retained and the neck is perfectly straight with a low slinky action, the trussrod works perfectly and the guitar is a dream to play. The guitar comes with it's original hardshell Gibson Gen 1 Chainsaw Protector case.
