This item was bought a number of years ago for a school studio. It was intended for use to record to then mix recordings on a a real mixing desk. Since the item was bought the requirements of our exam board changed and we no longer needed to be able to mix using real hardware. It has consequently sat unused for a few years now in our air-conditioned (and for obvious reasons - smokeless!) school studio. The XR version has some very high quality preamps. That is the main difference between this unit and the standard HD24s.Contains two hard drives.Everything in excellent working order.I am selling a lot cheaper than the other HD24XRss on ebay as I want a quick sale.Any more info just google...Happy for collection or can post to UK/Europe
