2007 Suhr S1 pro series vintage sunburst
Excellent condition with OHSC.
This guitar is essentially a 60s stratocaster with a humbucker. These guitars down to the pickups are all hand made. It is absolutely gorgeous. The fine details and craftsmanship of this instrument are obvious.
The S1 Pro Series Suhr plays and sounds better than any stratocaster out there. I would hate to burst a lot of the fender guy's bubbles out there but a headstock shape doesnt mean a thing once you play a Suhr like this. The guitar rings like a bell and the fret work is just outstanding.
Hand wound pickups. They put 3 times as many man hours into these guitars to build vs a Fender CS strat. It absolutely shows in the quality and playibility. I hate to sell this guitar. She is a total keeper. See the build spec sheet picture for all specs on her.
Suhr was founded in 1997 and this being a 2007 is kinda cool in the fact that it represents 10 years absolutely ROCKING it in the hand crafted, fine boutique, one off custom shop guitars business.
