For sale is a April 27, 1981 Gibson Sonex 180 Custom. This electric guitar comes with an SKB 5 hasp pretty nice hard case. The instrument has Seymour Duncan pickups below and Velvet Humbuckers at the neck. This guitar except for the pickups appears original (even the knobs and the tiny toggle), but has wear and it shows in some places (see pics please), there are scratches, and there is a nice superficial crack on the lower body next to the harness knob. The crack is not very deep, and if anything, adds character to the guitar. I was told it plays like it should (I don’t play). Please look the pics over before bidding, this guitar has been played but the fret board looks new to me, and the pickguard has scratches too. This is a good chance to pick up a great guitar and one of the best for that year. Prices are all over the place for these great Gibson’s, so Have fun bidding. I have a reserve, so have fun!
