'BUY IT NOW' OR MAKE A SENSIBLE NEAR OFFER This is a virtually mint condition Fender MIM Classic 50's Fiesta Red / maple neck 2012 model Stratocaster. Serial number MX12 013367. The guitar has spent 99.9% of its life carefully stored. I removed the cellophane from the pickguard and backplate only last month! The body has zero buckle rash on the back and the finish is super clean and glossy. The only marks are as follows:- There are two minute tiny shallow marks on the lower back which are too small to photograph. There small grain sinkage lines just visible in the gloss finish on one side between the bridge and the bottom-see image. This is hardly noticeable but is mentioned for accuracy. The neck is straight and the action low and buzz free. Zero fret wear. Perfect order. Perfect intonation. The neck profile is a nice soft 'V' vintage shape and is one of the outstanding features of this guitar along with the vintage radius and frets. These guitars have the full width bridge like the originals and a full size tremolo block. Everything is stock and unmolested. The electronics, wiring, switch and pots have not been altered. The pickups are the original excellent Fender vintage alnico units which are stamped and have white handwritten factory numbers on the bobbin plates. The guitar has never been gigged or even out of the house and comes complete with its original unmarked heavy duty thick Fender zip case The guitar is set up for sale with Fender F250L .009-0.42 light gauge strings and there are three tremolo springs currently fitted. Tremolo is properly set to just 'float' with a little upward movement as well as down. The original extra spare springs for use with heavier string gauges are included along with the special allen key wrench for the bridge adjustment. The guitar sounds fantastic with all the Marvin / Knopfler sounds on tap and the new owner will be delighted.
