Hi All.Up for grabs here is my lovely 1998 Les Paul Standard. As you can see from the photos it has had some upgrades done name the pickups and the knobs etc. This was produced on 11th March 1998 at the Nashville TN plant and was the 95th guitar produced that day.I have the stock cream pickguard, cream pickup surrounds, the cream switch surround and of course the original gold/faded Grover tuners,  this will all be included in the sale.I don't have the stock pickups any longer unfortunately, however the pickups fitted are the House Of Tone - House 4-5 Special matched pair. These are absolutely phenomenal sounding and a considerable upgrade to the stock at nearly £200 for the pair. This is a unique to brand pickup and they are currently being used & endorsed by Robert Fripp of King Crimson fame in his custom built guitars, all the information about the schematics and what these pickups do is available on their website and it will articulate that information much better than I can.For a guitar that is nigh on 20 years old it's in overall excellent condition, it's been used but not abused, there's the odd dink here and there (nothing through to the wood mind), the usual buckle rash, but nothing that affects play-ability or the tone of this wonderful guitar. With regards to the neck profile, it's similar to a 50's style in modern terms.Obviously this is not one of the modern weight relieved (chambered) model, with that in mind it is quite hearty in weight (circa 10lbs), it does have the Swiss Cheesing weight relieving however, it does have the advantage of sustaining like nobodies business which is one of the Les Paul virtues. It has it's original hardshell case (tan & pink) and it's shop hanging tag from when it was purchase back in 1999.Any more questions or offers please just ask.Warm RegardsTim
