For sale is a late 60's Trixon Speedfire Drumset(DRUMS AND DRUM HARDWARE ONLY). It has a 13" rack tom, 16 inch floor tom and the Speedfire bass drum with divider piece on the inside.The good: All lugs are original to the era--- drums are all in great condition and sound fantastic---brand new heads by CT Percussion---any parts replaced are original Trixon parts from Ingo Winterberg (renown Trixon expert)---Wrap is like new----new heads----all new hoops on toms (I have the originals)---I have 2 tom arms---I have an original cymal arm(seen in picture)The bad- The bass drum spurs are spray painted chrome, but look fantastic--The wrap is NOT original and is not a Trixon color per Ingo, and is probably a Tolex wrap--very minor pitting on chrome-polished up very nicely---tom muffler knobs are replaced(provided by Ingo)---all minor details.The drums sound Fantastic!!! Look outstanding and are a showstopper. I just never gig with them since getting a 60's teardrop Sonor with the same beech shells. And I am afraid of something happening to them.
