This is a extremely rare Rickenbacker 1997VB with the serial no DE125 and the original purchase date May 1964 which was the first year of issue. There is also a early lead and old embossed strap .These guitars were exclusive to the UK and imported by ROSE MORRIS LTD , they were equivalent to the American 335 but with a f hole.Pete Townsend of the Who used one as did Denny Laine of the Moody Blues and WingsThis guitar is in very good condition for its age with a few knows as expected.
