Model: Les Paul Standard Model Year: 2006

For sale is this used 2006 Gibson Les Paul Standard electric guitar. This particular example, serial number 011760606, is in very excellent all original condition and includes the original case, paperwork, adjustment tool, and original uninstalled pickguard! With a highly-figured AAA caliber flame maple top and a high-contrast Desert Burst sunburst finish, the overall appearance is very attractive and quite exotic. Of all the Les Paul Standards produced by Gibson over the last 20 years, this version is arguably the most like a vintage reissue, mostly because; it has vintage style Kluson tuning machines instead of Grovers, nickel parts as opposed to chrome, a non-chambered/non-weight relieved body construction unlike most made with weight-reducing routes, and appropriate vintage spec. parts. Don't miss out on this opportunity to buy this special guitar.
This ’06 Les Paul Standard features: a carved flame Maple plus AAA top, the original Desert Burst finish, Mahogany body and neck finished in Ebony/Black, a solid traditional body construction with no weight relief nor chambered routes, a Rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, an Ebony finish on the back of the body and neck, (2) PAF-reissue Burstbucker Pro humbucking pickups, vintage spec. Kluson-style Gibson Deluxe tuning machines, gold top hat knobs, a Nashville bridge and stop bar tailpiece, all vintage spec. nickel hardware, the original hard shell case, the original Gibson warranty manual, the original never-installed cream pickguard and the original adjustment tool.
With a ’60-style neck profile, and a weight just over 9 pounds, this guitar is both incredibly comfortable and easy to play. It sounds particularly great, and is not weight-relieved, which is more authentic and vintage appropriate than most constructed otherwise. The guitar is in near mint condition, than the nickel parts have developed a very attractive patina. This can easily be polished should the next owner so choose, but it enhances the VOS appeal of this instrument. As is, no returns. Will ship only to a verified PayPal address.
