Cargill Custom Stratocaster   -          Neck through body design hardtail strat, heaps of sustain -          Made with original Kauri and Black Bean woods.  Made in 1983 by James Cargill (build #14) -          Laminated body and neck section -          Rock maple fingerboard -          USA Fender Texas Special pickups -          Schaller machine heads – made in West Germany -          Brass nut -          Comes with a hard case   When I purchased this guitar (in 2005) it was fitted with Seymour Duncan “stacked humbucker” pickups – basically a humbucker in the size of a single coil pickup.  I wanted a more traditional Strat sound so I had James Cargill install the Texas specials.  This came at a cost of $480 and was completed in March 2006 (I still have the receipt!)   A beautiful walnut colour and pretty good condition considering it is 34 years old.  The main things I need to point out are: -          Chip on the body near the strap button -          Buckle rash -          Various minor dings
