..i'm guessing the re-finish is at least 20- possibly 30 years old- but I am no expert- please examine all photos- it is a nice glossy re-finish-i found this at an estate sale- i took it to a guitar shop , had is strung with new strings-elec. tested- sounds good- they said it has been upgraded with:NOS Leo Quan German made bridge with fine tunersGerman make- Schallers-  NOS as well- perfect condition- P-90 sounds strong- clear- probably not original- but it could be- i'm not an expert- and the guitar shop technician knew little on the subject also-    guitar has chunkier neck they mentioned- better suited for normal to large handsnice weight- at about  8 lb.they said the frets were great(as you can see in last photo- The original plastic button tuners are included- we found them in the little secret door - guitar shop said - no new holes were drilled for current schaller gold tuners- so originals can easily be switched if you choose to\-see photo #3-  the top of the headstock may have been touched up with a flat based white paint-they also- said no altercations of original bridge studs- so if you buy a replacement original stock compensated gibson bridge- you can easily switch it back)
I've gotten a lot of questions- I really can not say one way or the other if every little part is authentic- I acquired this instrument through an  estate sale- I am not an expert- but we did take it in to a local  music store for evaluation & they turned it on through a guitar amp and it played and sounded great-  -Music clerks are not experts; although they were able to prove this guitar played and made music- and had no electronic issues- I snapped the photos of the clerk displaying the  underside of the pickup and behind the little plastic panel- he removed and I snapped another photo of the potentiometers- i think he called them -or pots- for short- ...he thought they were without a doubt authentic- but since the pickup has replaced wires- probably not the original pickup
the case is a professional grade hard SKB  flight case with key- very nice- but has a few light scuffs on outside- they said they sold for 175. new plus tax and this one was almost new in their opinion USA Bidders ONLY_  This item is listed as a project and is non-returnable- Thank You-    Paypal only-
