Description
Type: Vintage Tube Microphones Model: cmv563
Brand: Neumann

Comes with everything in the photo and everything you need to start recording some beautiful tracks. (not included are the XLR cables you'd need to connect the tube power supply to a mixer/mic pre). These are a pair of CMV563's once owned my John Kuker, the former owner of Seedy Underbelly (California/Minnesota) and Pachyderm in Minnesota where Nirvana used these mics for their drum room sound in the album In Utero. They were also used for other natural drum room tones for the band The Breeders (Kim & Kelley Deal). I LOVE these mics but I retired from recording bands and music almost 10 years ago. I kept the CMV563's because I loved them so very much and they have a history. The capsules I have included are the OMNI 55K's but I am also including the G/B adapters for each mic so you can attach any BLUE, Telefunken, or Neumann lollipop capsule (normally a $140 minimum for two fittings). I will also include two Peluso shock mounts, the BLUE after-market tube power supply, 3-pin ground power cable, and two tube connector cables for the supply-chain. Both mics work flawlessly. Even though they are not PAIRED off an assembly line and have a slight difference in characteristics, I have been more than pleased based upon old-fashioned mic positioning rather than blind assumption.  I truly hate to sell these but I am working on funding toward a new computer for my current line of motion picture video work. Let me know if you have any questions.
