For sale is a Custom Shop quality guitar handmade by Bacchus in Japan (c. 2010/'11). This model is a step up from the BLP-STD Classic Series with more features such as an Ebony fretboard, double binding on the body, and a Bigsby tremolo just to name a few. This closely competes with the "G-brand" [name purposely omitted] among the Historic series yet it is one-third of the price compared to them. It is one of the best values out there... especially with this very rare 3-pickup model. The Bacchus guitar company made the BLP-CTM (the same with the STD version) for three years and ended this run at the end of 2012. Since then, the company has outsourced most of its entire lineup to other Asian countries... so this is the one to get! You won't be disappointed.
The guitar weighs exactly 10 lbs on my postal scale. It feels and sounds great. The neck is chunky. The thickness is much like a '58 Les Paul Historic model, and it is very comfortable for longer playing. The frets are in excellent shape. There are some typical light-wear marks "here-and-there" on the body for a seven-year-old instrument, but really nothing significant. The TV Yellow finish has aged a bit which makes the wood appear more like "Korina" although it's really all Mahogany. Classic looks and feel to it... Just a gorgeous guitar all around.
Will be well protected during shipment... Double-boxed for better protection.
