Fender Telecaster, 1952 Reissue, from Corona, CA shop. Early version with different body and neck dates, which is common for Fender. Was looked over by a local famous shop which verified it being 100% original, INCLUDING it being wired like the 1952 circuit (neck pickup as a muted bass). The neck pickup cap was desoldered from the circuit by the second owner in the 1990s but returned to its original '52 Reissue state before selling it to me. I'm its third owner. Thin body finish, gorgeous color. The finish shows the grain nicely. The neck is straight and fast. No dead spots on any frets. The pots are medium-fast after years of use. I've never removed thelube in them like some players do. You can if you want. Excellent condition. Some wear to body, some wear to neck. Some finish and hardware pitting naturally from 30+ year old guitar. Played lovingly for two decades then stored in a climate-controlled facility for the last 10 years. Fret wear is average for first 7 frets. All case-candy is original and included. The C.O.A. from Fender Corona was lost in the Great Nashville Flood of 2010. That's a shame and I'll never forget all that was lost in that terrible flood. Look at the pics. You'll not find a cleaner 30 year old American Telecaster with as much original parts. She'll need a setup to your liking when she arrives as she's got 10+ year old strings on and everyone has his or her own favorite setup. You can tell I hate to see her go, but I hate bills even worse and I've got more bills than time to play this guitar appropriately. Ask all questions before bidding. I have intended to be truthful and show a lot of the defects in pics, but remember it's a 30 year old guitar that was played lovingly, not abused. If you get it and disagree with my perception, I'll take her back amd refund the auction sale amount, but you will pay the return shipping and ship her back in the same condition and packaging she was shipped to you in. Thank you.
