True audiophiles, don't miss this chance to buy this fantastic sound processor! Purchased from a local theater that closed down a few months ago, it has never been used and is still wrapped in all its original plastics and packaging, as well as the original box it was shipped in. I unwrapped it for its first time to get pictures, and then carefully wrapped it back up and packed it back into it's box. There isn't a scratch or ding anywhere, the only thing it's missing is it's power supply (see pictures) which is a problem that can be solved with a little ingenuity. From my research, this was one of the top processors of its kind and is considered by some to be one of the best sound processors ever made! Total digital remote control of all processor functions - including volume. Inputs for (2) digital and (1) magnetic 6-track system or AV inputs. ( or 3 digital systems) Computer controlled digital potentiometer volume control (FADER) for extremely low noise and distortion. 30 band constant-Q 1/3 octave EQ's (plus HF and LF controls) for stage channels and full octave EQ for split surrounds. 1/3 octave filters are used for seperate subwoofer EQ. Three seperate volume controls for film, non-sync, and monitor levels. Automatic cross-fade and dip-fade with user selectable fade rate. Exclusive super-balanced virtual ground, high performance optical preamplifiers. Exclusive non-sync output routing system. Each non-sync source can be sent to a different combination of output channels. Digital delay is stereo for both analog soundtracks and digital soundtracks. Includes proprietary noise/splatter reduction circuitry which reduces cross-talk. Built-in booth monitor system can be configured for stereo or mono monitor speakers. Seperate line outputs for external hearing impaired systems, ect. Can be configured for stereo or mono output. Optional built-in two-way crossovers on stage channels available for bi-amplified systems. All outputs fully balanced and floating for trouble free interconnection. Supplied with CM353 cards for playback of Spectral Recording encoded soundtracks for THX systems or optional low cost SMART Copycat 280 SR emulators. Also accepts Cat.280 cards manufactured by Dolby Labs, Inc.
