You are looking at a 1940's 50's MARTIN TENOR UKULELE UKE VINTAGE MAHOGANY w/ ORIGINAL CASE RARE USA!!! I have done extensive research on this instrument, and still have yet to pinpoint some of the details. I will do my best to describe it. Please feel free to ask me anymore questions and I will do my best to answer. This is a tenor Uke that ranges from 1936 to early 60's. It was purchased from original owner. (His name is in pencil inside the sound hole). Based on how it looks, I would guess 1940's to 50's. It has a Mahogany body as well as neck, with a Rosewood Fingerboard and bridge. It is a 12-fret model. It has a "tortoise shell" like binding on both top and bottom. Not sure if this is a Type 1 or Type 2 model. The string pegs were just replaced to match along with new strings. Everything else appears original. This guitar is an absolutely great condition. I would estimate between very good and excellent. With some minor nicks and flaws, but overall a Beauty!!! The original case is in nice shape for its age with all clasps closing properly. Thank you for looking. Please feel free to ask any questions. FREE SHIPPING!!!
