Up for sale, a 1967 Vox Jaguar combo organ model V304 E2 in excellent condition and in good working order. This Jaguar was recently fully serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, where it was tuned and generally gone through to ensure years of trouble-free play. This organ is complete with the original chrome Z legs, and this is the rare Heathkit version, originally offered for do-it-yourselfers who wanted to assemble a Jaguar from pre-fabricated parts.Introduced as a simplified version of the famed Vox Continental, the Jaguar has a tone generator system that is linked to a set of tone switches and knobs for Bass Volume and Contour (tone). All of the tone switches work as they should and the added bass section is one feature not offered on the Continental, with rich single note or chord bass to compliment your playing further up the keyboard. The keys are all level and each key responds with each individual tone switch The power amp has been serviced as well, running reliably and retrofitted with a modern three-prong female IEC power cable socket.Overall the organ is great shape, with the original grey tolex, orange top, and black and silver aluminum faceplate. The Jaguar logo on the back of the organ is clean and original, and the small sliver sticker above the tone switches is present as well. The original chrome Z legs show notable surface rust across most of the chrome plating, and the thumbscrews and washers for mounting the legs are modern replacements. In terms of cosmetic wear, this organ is quite clean, with light wear and a couple small stains on the textured orange top. The original latches and Vox-branded handle are intact too. Sure, there are some minor scuffs and light corner wear on the organ, but as the photos show, this vintage keyboard still looks great.Tonally the organ has that rich, cutting sound which is undeniably "Vox," and the keyboard responds reliably on all tone switch settings.
