You already know the history behind this beautiful preamps. Original design by Western Electric design. This are my personal pair, I am raising money for a purchase and letting lots of little things go, check my other auctions. Included:2 x Langevin 5116 preamps - serviced and recapped, connector updated as you can see in the picture, for better connectivity and sound. Two of the four transformers got changed to Hammond transformers which have a wider frequency range and better headroom for Ribbon Microphones.. I have a collection of RCA Ribbon mics and this amplifiers truly shine on this application, truly silent, warm and creamy... Good luck!
