Mincom 3M79 16 Track Professional Recorder. Made in the U.S.A. This Recorder has the 2" sixteen track & 1"eight track package by means of new convertible tape guides, that can be done quite easily. This allows savings on tape cost.
New, in/out idllers and ABEC 7 bearings. Reverse idler serviced & with new ABEC 7 bearings. All service bulletins up to date including one button punch in-out mod. Capstan motor serviced & spooling motors run strong. PSU serviced & to spec. Meters all working and lamps. Machine tech cal transport, tape path & electronics aligned to & above specs. Serviced with new fairchild 1086 FETS & Burr Brown op-amps to allow machines optimum performance with latest +9 tape specs.Tape heads serviced recently by JRF Magnetics. All modes function and working. Great sounding recorder.
Included: 2" 15/30 Ips MRL tape, 2 "ATR recording tape & 2" empty spool. Also, 1" 30Ips MRL tape, 1" GP9 Recording tape & 1" empty spool.
