DescriptionIn 2004, Fender introduced a few special models to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Strat. One of the nicest has to be the American Deluxe Anniversary Strat. Top notch quality approaching Custom Shop levels. The body is alder for great tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays. A trio of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups deliver buzz free vintage tones. The pickups are hooked to a 5 way switch as well as Fender’s innovative S-1 switching for tons of tones. A modern 2 point trem and locking tuners keep it all rock solid. All hardware is gold plated for a classy look including the special 50th anniversary neck plate. A 2 tone sunburst finish adorns this beauty for a cool 50s look. A great instrument that would make Leo proud. This is a good playing and sounding Strat. The modern shaped neck and big frets make for an easy to play guitar that can handle big blues bends. The SCN pickups have Killer tone with no noise and offer tons of versatility. This Strat would suite a collector or a player looking for a safe investment. In overall Excellent condition. The frets show very light-wearand play Gracefully. The finish shows minor pick scratches/surface swirling and the Gold hardware shows some slight discoloration. Their also appears to be some lacquer Bubbling on the side bout. Comes in original 50th anniversary case with some case Candy. Collectors have snapped up many of these unique guitars. They offer unique beauty and great features.
