This is a no reserve auction for my beloved 1998 PRS Standard 24 with bird inlays. This guitar has a neck shape based on the prototype PRS guitars, and is very comfortable to play. The pickups are outstanding. Because this guitar does not have a maple top, and has a solid mahogany body, it has a unique sound. The tuning keys are original, with the little triangle shaped cams to lock the strings. The entire guitar is completely original, right down to the strap buttons. Frets show a little wear, and could use a light dress, but are very playable as is.This guitar has been mine since new, and has seen me through many tough times. With my current station in life, I just don't play anymore, and although it's tough for me to let go of, I'd rather see it in someone's hands who will enjoy it as I have.
