This is my beautiful Gretsch DuoJet 1957 re-issue model, which is identical to the George Harrison specification guitar without the 'flaws' George created when he messed about with it!It has the original DynaSonic single coil pickups, and a Bigsby, intact, without the ugly modified bolt! The rear strap button is also in the correct place - I guess George was finding it tough getting the screw to bite into the hole and so had to move it to a different (and completely wrong!) place. The back of the body is a very dark mahogany - George had his re-sprayed black, for some reason, but the dark back on this is as close to black as you can get (looks much darker 'in the flesh'). It also has the excellent 'rocking bar' bridge which helps keep this guitar in tune however you treat the vibrato..!Built in 2003 this guitar is in great shape. Any 'marks' you can see are either reflections or dust! Of course I will be happy to send you copies of the full size original photos on request. I bought it because I wanted a George Harrison spec DuoJet but did not want to pay the premium for dodgy mods and an engraved trussrod cover with George's 'signature'..! It plays like a dream and has that great Gretsch early Beatles sound! There is almost no fret-wear and only very, very minor pitting to the chrome plating on the pickups (can't be avoided - it always happens on these DynaSonics). The only blemish otherwise is a TINY little ding on the back of the body; much too small to show up in any attempts to photograph it!Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. This guitar has been very well cared for in my smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note this is a UK SALE ONLY. Any overseas offers will be rejected.A full specification of this stunning instrument follows:SpecificationsGretsch G6128T-1957 DuoJet with Bigsby Model Name: G6128T-1957 Duo Jet with Bigsby
