Fender Stratocaster, ‘54, FULL UPGRADE, Gilmour, 1984, “V” Neck --- FREE DELIVERY AUSTRALIA WIDE --- 1984-87, Made In Japan, “E” serial Very early serial/period Fender JPN FujiGen production Highly sort after and hard to find, ’54 model All the looks of David Gilmour’s famous black Stratocaster High Gloss Black, three ply balck pickguard(pickguard is brand new) Alder body, 7.25” board, vintage frets Maple one piece neck With an extremely hard to find “V” profile Highly sort after for comfort under grip Especially for big chord and rhythmic players Upgraded wiring to a "Gilmour" 7 way pickup switching system This adds to the standard 5 way Stratocaster pickups switching. You now have the option of running all 3 pickups at once, and the option of the neck and bridge pickups together HUGE amount of variation in tones It has also had a treble bleed circuit added on the volume pot. There is now no “muddiness” when dialling back the volume, which makes for greater control. Perfect for manual volume swells. The following upgrades have also been made using only the best high end parts -CTS 250k volume and tone pots -Switchcraft input jack -Oak Grigsby 5-way switch-22 gauge, waxed braided, vintage cloth wiring-Sprague .047mfd orange drop tone capacitor-Toggle switch added for 7 way switching variation -Treble bleed circuit-All cavities, pickguard copper shielded Full copper shielding installed to make this machine SILENT! Even at high amp volumes it is 99% buzz and hum freeThe wiring now has perfect grounding, as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside Period correct 50’s headstock decal and sealed tuners Fender stamped saddles, alnico single coil pickups This 30+ year player would suit any one from a collector to a full time or professional musician, or one very lucky beginner player! Excellent action, fret polished, re strung and playing wonderfully Includes the original Fender Gig Case and tremolo arm ITEM CONDITION All machinery, electrical, and pickups are perfect.
