Gibson TB 3 Mastertone Banjo 1925 -- Das Instrument wurde 1984 von Karsten Schnorr restauriert und befindet sich noch in einem guten Zustand. Es sind nur wenig Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden (siehe Fotos). Das Banjo ist voll spielbereit und hat eine gute Saitenlage. Die Mechaniken sind nicht mehr die Ursprünglichen sondern wurden ersetzt. Leider ist, aus mir unerklärlichen Gründen, keine Seriennummer mehr zu finden und auch der Gibson Aufkleber ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Vielleicht wurde der innere Holzring verstärkt und ergänzt, weil der Alte instabil gewesen ist. Es scheint sich aber um ein Instrument aus dem Jahre 1925 zu handeln. Nur in diesem Baujahr stand das Wort „Mastertone“ auf der Kopfplatte und der Schriftzug „Gibson“ ist so gestaltet wie auf diesem Banjo. Zudem ist die Bauart identisch mit den Instrumenten aus dem Jahr 1925. Das Instrument wird im Koffer versendet. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Gibson TB 3 Mastertone Banjo 1925 -- The instrument was restored in 1984 by Karsten Schnorr and is in a good way. There are slight traces of use on that item (see pictures). The banjo is ready to play and has a good string action. The mechanisms are not the originals, they got changed. Unfortunately there is no serial number on the instrument and also no Gibson label. Maybe the inner woodring has been strengthened and added, because the old one was insecure. It seems to be an instrument from 1925. Only in this year was the word "Mastertone" written at the top of the head plate and the design of the Gibson writing is from this year. Furthermore the banjo is of the type like other instruments from 1925. The instrument will be sended in its banjo case. International bidders are welcome, please ask for shipping costs.
