This Tommys Special Guitar Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red was built by Tommy Metz who owned a guitar store in Viersen (Germany) until he suddenly and sadly passed away just over a year ago. Tommy was by all accounts an extremely passionate human being with a "guitar heart" who started his own guitar shop (Tommy's Guitar Lounge) at the tender age of 19 and eventually started building his own instruments. The guitar looks like it has barely been played and barely shows any kind of play-wear.
The original frets still are in perfect shape.
Neck and body are made of mahogany, the body is toped with a figured, bookmatched maple top.
The neck has a nice round c-shape, comfortable to play.
It´s not chunky at all and two Harry Häussel humbucking pickups have a great tone!
Comes in tan/beige tolex case with brown interior. Techn.
