You are bidding on a 1993 made in Japan FENDER 52 REISSUE TELECASTER that I bought 10 years ago from XHEIFRI'S GUITARS. See at Jeff's Web site XHEFRIGUITARS.COM UNDER 52 REISSUES. Its the one with serial A065178 with 5 way switch that I replaced with USA 3 way switch.
This is a New Old Stock Tobacco Burst (similar to Sunburst) Fender 1952 Telecaster Reissue in mint condition made in 1993 complete with hang tags (Serial #A065178). The craftsmanship on this high gloss solid Ash body in unprecedented. The finish allows the beautiful Ash grain to show through. This one also has that true 1952 fat V shape neck. This 52 RI has the original vintage 1952 MIJ reissue pickups and controls with exception of new USA 3 way switch,This thing has basically sat in my closet for the time I have owned it with a handful of play. It has a minor rub mark and and scratch on the bottom as shown in pics. The rub mark probably could be buffed out. There is a small finish wear on bottom of headstock near the nut, again minor. Frets are like new. There is slight wear around the made in Japan at neck heel due to the case it was stored in.This guitar is absolutely gorgeous and near mint. Wish I could add more pics.
