Had my tech check this out and it seems to be original components but the pickguard is questionable. I bought it from an older player who had the body and neck refinished black many years ago. We originally were going to refin the neck and body but just stripped the neck and finished the headstock black. We decided to leave the body as is. The Treble PU is noticeablyweaker than the bass PU. Electronics work properly and the bass will need some adjustment as the action is a bit high. Black block inlays are indicative of 1973 o1974 production. There is no neck date or logo on the bass, only serial #s on the neck plate. The case is non original fender molded plastic and as well as the bass in good condition. It is a players bass. It is sold in as is condition with buyer to pay shipping and insurance USPS priority.
